What is this group? (Discussion)

Seems from the description it’s actually talking about open source software not open source education… Is there a difference? Can we talk about thetheory of open source in context of both? Do we need two seperate communitites?

I don’t think that we would require two groups. Talking about open source and it’s related topics is a counter part to the education and exploration of open source. In order to support open source communities is to also be knowledgeable of all. Discussion and education of usage and theory goes hand in hand. Would it not?
